Gouda Stuffed Burgers

Burger Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 3 oz Buholzer Brothers Gouda cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste (or season the burger to your liking)
  • Topping options: lettuce, tomato, bacon, red onion, pickles, ketchup, mustard
  • 3 Brioche buns

Burger Sauce Ingredients

  • ½ cup mayo
  • 2 tbsp ketchup
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp paprika
  • ¼ tsp cayenne
  • Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Evenly divide the hamburger in six servings. Using your hands to flatten out the burger and create patties.
  2. Cut gouda cheese into small slices and place 1 oz in the center of three of the patties. Top with the other three patties. Press around edges to seal the patties.
  3. Place burgers on a preheated grill or grill pan. Cook 3 minutes on each side until the interior of the meat reaches 160° F. Remove from grill and let rest for 2 minutes.
  4. Serve warm with your favorite toppings and burger sauce.
