Dill Havarti & Salmon Grilled Cheese

  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 4 thick slices Buholzer Brothers™ Dill Havarti Cheese
  • 8 oz. package of smoked salmon
  • green leaf lettuce
  • 2 tbsp butter


  1. Heat griddle or fry pan over medium heat.   To assemble the sandwich, lay 1 slice of rye bread on cutting board or work surface.  Layer on the dill Havarti cheese, half of the salmon, lettuce, and top with a slice of rye.  Repeat with remaining bread and ingredients.  Melt butter in pan.  Lay each sandwich cheese side down and grill until the cheese begins to melt.  Flip the sandwich and grill the other side.  Enjoy!
