Ingredients
- 4 ounces vegetable oil
- 1 each red bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 each green bell pepper, cut into strips
- 1 each large white onion, sliced thinly
- 4 tablespoons of butter, salted, room temperature
- 4 each hogie rolls, buttered and toasted on the grill
- 16 ounces of raw beef ribeye, thinly sliced (4 ounces per sandwich)
- 8 slices Buholzer Brothers® Muenster Cheese
Directions
- On a hot griddle add half of the vegetable oil and cook peppers and onions until soft, divide in 4 parts and set aside
- Spread butter on the inside of the rolls and toast on the griddle and set aside
- Add additional oil to griddle and spread out with a spatula, then cook sliced beef
- Mix in onion and peppers and chop with a metal spatula cutting meat and vegetables in small pieces
- Divide and shape meat and vegetables into four mounds the length of the roll
- Top each mound of meat with two slices of Buholzer Brothers® Muenster and allow to melt slightly
- Fill each roll with a mound of meat and serve warm
